Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate: Enhancing Security in E-Tendering
A Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate offers convenience and advanced security for e-tender filing. This certificate authenticates the identity of the tender filer, providing the highest level of assurance in the RCAI (Root Certifying Authority of India) hierarchy.
To submit bids and tender documents online, an organization must obtain a Class 3B digital signature certificate in the name of the authorized representative. This certificate is exclusively issued to authorized individuals within an organization.
The Class 3B Digital Signature Certificate serves two purposes:
– Signing Certificate: Ensures the integrity of the message, preventing tampering during transmission, and verifies the identity of the tender filer.
– Encryption Certificate: Encrypts data, ensuring only the intended recipient can read the message.
Usage:
– E-Tendering
– E-Auction
– Ice Gate
– NSWS Porter
– E-Procurement (Certain sites require encryption certificates)
– E-Bidding
